María Ferrer lead the Financial Services practice as partner. She brings more than 25 years’ experience in investment banking and strategic consulting in international settings.

She began her career at Monitor Company, the strategy firm founded by Michael Porter. She then moved into financial services, first at HSBC and Grupo Santander. She later joined Morgan Stanley, where she spent over two decades in leadership roles across Capital Markets, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), and Global Capital Markets (GCM). During this period, María advised on numerous IPOs in Spain and internationally. She also served on the Anti-Money Laundering Committee and the Diversity Committee.

Her international career has taken her to London, Paris, Boston, New York, and Madrid, giving her a truly global perspective on the financial industry. In addition to her native Spanish, she is bilingual in French, fluent in English, and has a working knowledge of German.

María holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from ICADE (E4), completed in Spain and France, and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
