Marta García-Valenzuela leads the Diversity and Sustainable Leadership practice at Talengo, making the firm a benchmark in strategic diversity and sustainability management in executive search, talent program evaluation, leadership, and culture transformation, as well as board advisory services in recent years.

She began her professional career in the recruitment and evaluation area at an international consulting firm, coordinating the teams in Madrid and Barcelona. In 2011, she joined Talengo to develop the diversity practice across key dimensions. Since then, she has advised top management of major national and international corporations on the business impact of effective strategic diversity management. Under her leadership, Talengo has carried out diversity management projects based on organizational diagnosis through diversity audits. She has created diversity committees, trained diversity ambassadors, and developed cultural transformation projects from an inclusive and sustainable leadership model, pioneering in the Spanish-speaking market

She is a psychology graduate from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an expert in legal psychology from the COP. She is certified as a Coach by ICC. She was awarded a scholarship to study on the Female Leadership programme of Fundación Rafael del Pino. She is certified in competency management tools, assessment centre and other evaluation tools. She holds a Certificate in Diversity Management from the Chamber of Commerce, the Diversity Foundation and the CEPAIM. She also collaborates with APD, the Chamber of Commerce and Intrama as a speaker in leadership and diverse talent topics and with the mass media specializing in economics and human resources subjects as a diversity and sustainability expert. She is currently a mentor in several programs to promote women towards leadership positions, Member of the Academic Advisory Board of the General Management Area of EAE Business School,. She is also a trustee of the NGO “Alianza por la solidaridad” and has been chosen as a Top 100 woman in Spain in the management category.

She is also the author of the book “Heroes of Diversity” and “Sustainable Leaders”.
