Manuel has an extensive experience in investment banking both in Mexico and New York. He was Managing Director and Chairman of the Board at The Royal Bank of Scotland between 2011 and 2013. Before that, Manuel had spent 0 years leading the Corporate Banking team with responsibility for both commercial and investment banking. Previously, he held several senior positions at JP Morgan in Mexico and New York, where he acted as Vice President of Corporate Banking in Mexico, and LatAm Financial Advisory Division in New York.
In 2014 Manuel jumped to the executive search and leadership consulting sector, where he worked in one of the top international firms until joining Talengo in 2022.
In addition to leading Talengo Mexico, Manuel leads the financial services practice where he provides strategic leadership advice to companies in the Mexican financial system in retail banking, corporate banking, investment banking, private equity, private banking and insurance companies.
Manuel holds a Degree in Accounting from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and an MBA from Tulane University AB Freeman School of Business in New Orleans, LA.
